Franco126, born as Federico Bertollini, is a song writer from Rome.
One hundred and twenty six (126) is the number of steps of the stairway in Viale Glorioso, in the famous area of Trastevere in Rome, already dear to Sergio Leone and also a meeting place for the historical crew of Franco.
His rap verses cross over into singer-songwriter with a lucid ability to focus on reality and emotions.
The vaguely retro style, is coupled with a rough and truthful tone, a perfect bitter&sweet contrast made just to wrap people’s heart.
“Polaroid”, published in 2017, was his debut paired with Carl Brave. A real record case that emerged strongly thanks to the “web tamtam” and entered not only the charts reaching the Golden Disc, but also reached the contemporary collective imagination.
A new sound, fresh and captivating that has gained the whole peninsula thanks also to the dozens of sold out concerts between May 2017 and September 2018.
In October 2018, Franco 126 debuts with his first solo single “Frigobar”, produced by Stefano Ceri, a song with a timeless sound and melancholy atmospheres.
The close understanding with Ceri has been the right way to start working on Franco126’s solo record “Stanza Singola, released on January 25th, 2019.
