Thanks to a unique poetics and flow, themes and personalities, Gemitaiz has become a reference name of this kind in Italy. Capable of playing with metrics like few others, he managed to create a completely new sound imagery, in perfect balance between the always original and innovative productions and his lyrics.
2012 – After signing for Tanta Roba Label, Gemitaiz presents its first official solo album, “L’Unico Compromesso”. The 19 tracks of the album are the natural continuation of the work done in previous years that led him to be in first place in iTunes at the time of the release of the EP “Detto Fatto”, of the same year.
2014 – Publish with MadMan the album Kepler “for Tanta Roba / Universal Music Italy, 16 songs in advance from “Non Se ne Parla” and the single “Instagrammo” feat. Coez. After the N.1 in the FIMI GFK ranking, the album “Kepler” reaches the Disco D’Oro after two months from the publication. Inside the album there are several collaborations and featuring: Pk, Ombra, Frenetik & Orang3 to Don Joe of the Club Dogo, passing by historical characters such as Jake La fury and Guè Pequeno, Jay Reaper of Dope D.O.D. and Clementino.
An intense live activity follows the publication of the album: KEPLER LIVE TOUR, KEPLER SUMMER SHOW with the New Year’s appointment at the Circus Maximus of Rome and then continue with QVC5 LIVE TOUR (two sold out of Alcatraz @ Milan and Orion @ Rome).
In December 2014 Gemitaiz made available in free download the fifth volume of the mixtape “Quello che vi consiglio” now become a mixtape of worship with an annual cadence among its fans, enjoying a great success with over 250 thousand downloads in a week.
In July 2015 he published the crossover song “Bene” alongside the producer duo Frenetik & Orange and accompanied him with a video directed by Fabrizio Conte.
In November the mixtape WHAT YOU RECOMMEND Vol. 6 was released in free download (more than 300,000 downloads in a few days)
2016 – Anticipated by the single “Bene”, was released the new album “NONOSTANTE TUTTO” that wipes out all the previous results: DISCO D’ORO for sales in just two weeks.
